Yes. Expeto is designed to be scalable. This means that you can start off with just a few users but end up with 100+ without adversely affecting the performance of the system. This is not the case with all software!
Providing a robust and reliable system is one of our top priorities. We know that you will come to rely on expeto to run your business and that you will need access to it at all times of the day. To ensure you won’t be disappointed, we use a dedicated data centre with redundant power supply and multiple internet connections for increased resilience and there is replacement hardware on standby in the event of failure. All this adds up to us having confidence to offer 99.9% system availability.
Expeto is offered on subscription basis, so you pay a fixed monthly fee depending on the number of system users you require. You do not need to purchase any new hardware or software and all system management (including daily backup) is included in the price. Please see our subscription page for current charges.
We believe that expeto offers excellent value for money when compared with alternatives. Remember that the expeto subscription includes software licences, hosting and management so not only do you not have the cost of software license but you also you save the cost of purchasing/maintaining server hardware and the cost of IT support.
We take the security of your data very seriously and have applied the highest standards of security in the design of our software and infastructure.
The expeto application uses encrypted communications (similiar to banking websites) and displays the padlock symbol so you can be sure that your data remains private whilst it travels across the internet.
Your data is then stored in a database behind a firewall so that it is only accessible via the expeto application and is less vulnerable to internet threats. This gives an additional level of security, and we believe that our thorough approach means your data is at least as secure (if not more so) than if it were stored on a web server in a typical small business network.
Finally, unlike many software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers, who force all customers to share a single application and database, expeto is different. Our hosted solution gives you access to your own private copy of the software and database so there is no possibility of any other users gaining access to your data.
Since expeto is sold as a subscription service there are no up-front software licence costs and you don’t need any new servers, backup devices or other hardware. It’s possible for you to implement expeto with no setup costs providing that you already have some PCs with internet access - and you’re willing to do some work in preparing data for import. However if you need assistance in implementing expeto in your business we can provide expert consultancy at a competitive daily rate
Your monthly subscription fee covers the cost of software licences, server hosting, software support, upgrades and all system maintenance (backup etc).
In addition we charge a daily fee for any assistance you require during your implementation of expeto, such as on-site training or assistance in preparing your data for import.
Typically, we would expect to assist you in a business process review (to help you understand how to use expeto most effectively in your organisation), deliver user training and perform data validation and import of your existing data into your expeto database. Depending on the complexity of your business and the amount of data you want to import, this can take between 3 and 20 days. We’re happy to discuss your needs and get involved as much or as little as you like.
Yes. We understand that no two companies are the same and that software often has to be modified to make it suit your business process. With expeto, each customer gets their own virtual copy of the software so it’s possible to make changes – unlike many SaaS software products. Our consultants would be pleased to discuss your specific requirements and cost implications.
We know that collecting lots of data in a business system is no use if you can’t get at it for analysis. Expeto integrates with Microsoft Word and Excel so you can easily extract data to produce graphs, charts or perform more detailed analysis.
Simply cancel your contract giving one month’s notice and you’re free to walk away. Your data belongs to you so you should make sure that you have exported all the data you need, as we will securely delete your data on termination of the service.
